I built the bear because I thought of my mother. She loves bears and she always says mama bear. I thought that I would do something nice for her because of all the things that she has done for me. It was a hard decision because I had to decide wether or not I built an animal for my dad or mother.
The sketch that I made in the beginning of the marking period was way different then my actual sculpture. For many reasons, for one it is a totally different shape of the body. Also because the mouth is a different kind of shape. But other then that everything turned out good.
One of the problems that I had during the building time is that the paint kept cracking even though there was modge podge in it. But other then that there wasn't any other big problems. So over all the totem pole project turned out pretty good. To fix the paint problems I just added more modge podge.
Yes I do really like the way that my totem pole bear turned out. The only thing that I would like to change is probably the fact that it looks so much like winnie the pooh. Even though I like it it looks like winnie the pooh I really like how it turned out. I wasn't really expecting it to turn out so good.
